When you request a scan, we collect the website address and email address you give us. When we scan a site, we collect the public pages of that site and a screenshot of its homepage, the same material any visitor's browser receives. When you email us, we keep the email.
To produce and deliver your report, to reply to you, and, if you hire us, to do the work. We email website owners whose sites we have scanned to tell them what we found. Every such email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and we honor it immediately.
We don't sell or rent your information. We don't share it with anyone except the services we use to run this business (web hosting, email delivery, and payment processing), and only as needed to provide the service. We don't log in to your site or access anything that isn't public unless you hire us and give us access.
This site uses no analytics cookies, no advertising trackers, and no tracking pixels in email.
Scan reports are kept so they can be compared on rescans. To have your report and your address removed, email james@getstepfree.com and it will be done within a few days.
